I know, it’s been awhile, friends. But things have been a little busy (and chaotic) around here. In a good way, though. We have some news: Mission Delectable has a new home! Not a new home on the internet—we’re still right here, even if a little quiet lately. We have a new home in real life. And we couldn’t possibly love it more.
A few weeks ago, Patrick and I bought our first home and moved in. We left our old neighborhood—the Mission—but certainly haven’t abandoned our beloved city. We simply moved up onto one of San Francisco’s many hills, into Bernal Heights. Scout has her own backyard. And we have our own little house. A house with some pretty incredible views of San Francisco.
Now the furniture is moved in. Most of the boxes are unpacked. And the computer is (finally) hooked up, and actually connecting to the internet. Our new house is officially a home. That means it’s time to get back to cooking for real. Time to get back to this little blog. Time to get back to our regularly scheduled programming. So stay tuned—I’ve got some delicious recipes that I’ve been meaning to share. And I’ll be posting them soon. In the meantime, we’ll be enjoying the weekend in our new home. We hope that you have a wonderful weekend too.
